Distributed Generation Procedures & Guidelines

It is the intent of the Cooperative to allow Members to install qualifying Distributed Generation (DG), provided the Member's DG facility does not adversely affect the Cooperative, is less than 700 kW in size, and is rated to produce an amount of electricity less than or equal to the amount of electricity the Member for whom the DG is installed is reasonably expected to consume. The Members must conduct their own analysis to determine the economic benefit of a DG operation. Members may operate a DG facility in stand-alone or isolated fashion as long as such DG facility does not adversely affect the Cooperative's system.
