Linemen for Little Ones

Established in 2014, VEC’s Linemen for Little Ones is a unique project designed to benefit the children of our shared community. Several events take place during the year to raise money from raffle ticket sales, including a silent auction. In 2021, VEC’s Linemen for Little Ones partnered with the Victoria Rotary Club for their annual Jack Whitmire Memorial Charity Sporting Clay Shoot, which helped to raise $15,000. In addition to events like these, VEC’s employees also contribute annually to continue the positive growth of the program. Ultimately Linemen for Little Ones works to donate money in order to help further develop the children within the community, and in 2021 proudly donated $5,000 to Victoria Community Partners for Children, $5,000 to the Children’s Center, and $2,000 to Golden Crescent Casa.
